Terms of Service
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between The Cleaning Tower of Peter (referred to as “the Company”) and the client (referred to as “the Client”) for the provision of cleaning services. By booking our services, the Client agrees to the following:
1. Services
- The Company will provide cleaning services as requested by the Client, including but not limited to domestic cleaning, holiday let cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, and additional services as outlined at the time of booking.
- The Company reserves the right to amend or modify the services if required, with the Client’s approval.
2. Access to Property
- The Client must provide access to the property at the agreed-upon time. If access is not granted, the Client may be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the booking cost.
- The Company will use reasonable care when handling the Client’s keys, but will not be responsible for the cost of replacing locks or keys unless there is negligence on the part of the Company.
3. Payment
- Payment terms are strictly upon receipt of invoice unless agreed beforehand. Any queries or discrepancies must be raised within 24 hours of receipt of this invoice or full payment will be expected.
- The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments at a rate of 5% per annum above the base lending rate of Barclays Bank.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- The Client may cancel or reschedule a service by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service cost.
- The Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness or extreme weather conditions, and will notify the Client at the earliest opportunity.
5. Health and Safety
- The Company will use safe, non-hazardous cleaning products, unless otherwise requested by the Client. If the Client requires the use of specific products, they must provide them.
- The Company is not liable for any health issues arising from the use of cleaning products provided by the Client.
6. Liability
- The Company is fully insured, and will take reasonable steps to prevent damage or loss to the Client’s property. However, the Company is not liable for:
- Wear and tear of surfaces, fixtures, and fittings.
- Damage caused by faulty or improper installation of items or equipment.
- Any loss or damage where the Client has failed to inform the Company of fragile or valuable items in advance.
- Any claims for damage must be made in writing within 24 hours of the service being completed.
7. Complaints
- Any complaints regarding the cleaning service must be made within 24 hours of the service. The Company will take all necessary steps to resolve the issue to the Client’s satisfaction.
- If the Client is unsatisfied with the work, the Company may offer a free re-clean within 24 hours.
8. Termination of Service
- Either party may terminate regular cleaning services by providing 7 days’ notice in writing.
- The Company reserves the right to terminate the service immediately if the Client fails to make payment or breaches any of these terms.
9. Confidentiality
- The Company will ensure that any personal or property information disclosed by the Client remains confidential and is not shared with third parties without the Client’s consent, unless required by law.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The United Kingdom
